Yes.

I know. It's written in the other mail from me to the list.

Yes. But as far as I cam concerned, crashing and leaving a
core file behind can be better. Because I can reenter a lot faster.
I use to do things fast. This is why I like the console so much. And
this is why this problem arised. Because I hit ^X almost as a reflex.

Yes. But here there is no filter, role, add-on, add-in or
anything else but plain pine. Just it's configuration. And a lot of
mail folders.
I like vim better than pico. But it's like more work to do...
eh, ^C, :x... Any other editing stuff I do from vi.

Eh. Never tried that. It's like a tradition. First time I
used email I was so excited. It was something I never tried. The
first networking experience. I read about a lot of stuff related to
mail and mailx. But some pushed me to use Pine. So here I go.
Besides like 6 months one time when I didn't have any Linux distro, I
did my mail with pine.
Mutt you say? I could give it a shot. As far as I am
concerned I can go and use mailx. But I guess I got too used with
that nice way of showing the contents of a folder.
So Pine isn't really the problem. It's a great piece of
software. And as far as I can see, that roles feature is great for
who needs it...
This looks like a problem. But I'm not that good to say "hey,
I found a bug in pine - here is the patch". I don't even have those
damn sources.
