What do you mean by "won't shut down"? Which of the several ways are you
trying to shut it down (what is the exact command you are entering)?
How far does the script get? What is the actual last line that gets
displayed? Do any of the lines that precede it seem to be error messages? If
so, waht do they say?
If you mean literally that it doesn't power down ... that could be a
hardware conflict (my computers all get to the "power down" line but don't
actually turn off).
