And we are supposed to see that, considering you did not even mention the
cards name, where do we start when answering this question, appart from
Ray's remarks on ifconfig and route.
I gave an instance of how one particular card would be configured, one
would have thoght that you would have seen the example as a "pointer" not
an insult to your seeminly hot temper.

The fact that your email was not so understandable lies not on the long
lines which you included in your mail, but your lack of ability to explain
which card you have, that you still have not done.
So the underlying line is still your best help.
