Well I got all of my servers ( ordered 5 ) in record or reasonable time ( Last one did take 45 days ) I got a real problem with T7500 workstations. Ordered 3 on 11/6, original ship date just before Thanksgiving. Everytime I get to within a week of the ship date it gets bumped two more weeks.
Best guess on the website is 1/20 from 1/7. My sales rep was almost no help. I get this story of "We're reworking manufacturing and it's not going well." Same from his manager. I haven't heard from anyone in the last few days. Dell had hit a game winning home run in this last sales cycle but the runner passed out drunk 2 feet from home plate and never scored the winning point. The fans are not amused. Just another data point alabun On 1/5/2010 6:05 PM, [email protected] wrote: > We've had a lot of good luck in the past with Dell (I've been a Dell guy for > 12 years), but this has happened a few times with recent orders. > > Other recent things I've noticed about Dell: > > 1) website has had a lot more issues in the past six months (premier/my > account/regular).
