Your screenshot shows a severely outdated BIOS v3.0.0.
Your best bet is to update the BIOS to the latest BIOS is v6.x.x and
then re-read the Hardware Owner Manual (

I updated the BIOS with no visible difference.
What part of the HW owner manual talks about needing a license to install
non-dell replacement HW or upgrades?
I'm aware of the memory-mirror mode w/ECC configuration which involved
only using memory in ch's 1&2 +4&5 for bank A and B, but I wanted to use the
optimizer memory mode with memory in ch's 1-6 for A and B (which is what I have
in it right now, but it complained that it wouldn't reconfig to the new memory
model without a license.
I also ran memory diagnostics for over a half an hour and it didn't show
anything wrong.
Ideas?
Thanks much!
