Allan,

You can include the remote ip address for demand dialing, and also list
the ipcp-accept-remote option.  Here is a clip from the pppd man page:

       ipcp-accept-remote
              With  this option, pppd will accept the peer's idea
              of its (remote) IP address, even if the  remote  IP
              address was specified in an option.
