asyncmap problem

Hello,

I am getting logged messages that the xmit and rcv
asyncmap are both being set to ffffffff after I explicitly
use the ppp option "asyncmap 0".  I'm dialing from
a linux ppp client to a Shiva LanRover.

Any clues?
