Yeah, but for around $750 I can put a SDSL router/modem pair on a single TP line
and have 1.5MBPS symetrical, as long as I'm within the distance limitations of
xDSL. Everything else I've looked at either required 2 Pairs (4 wires), or was
quite expensive for just a small increase in bandwidth (jumping form 33.6k to
56k), or both. For my money, I figure it's either 33.6 modems or SDSL, as the
choices in between didn't seem to make a lot of economic sense.
