I guess it wouldn't be bad if some of the sites people turn to for help had
pointers to the new docs.
The LDP issue will have to wait for a little while. But I don't think that
means that no other sites should link to it. I guess. If you know the
people you are referring to, and you could make them link/mirror the new
docs, and if no one would have hard feelings about it, well then I'm all
positive and happy about it. Just do it (TM) :)

Well, the new docs are already mentioned in some of the new man-pages, and a
text version comes with the raidtools package. While the newbies should be
able to find the docs easily, we don't want experienced users having to scroll
thru four screens of pointers to docs etc. before they can do what they know
well how to do. I don't know about this. Guess it's something left well to
the people maintaining the raidtools (Ingo et. al.).
