Hello all.
I'd like to express my appreciation for guiding me through the aforementioned
disaster. Between all the flames, I received enough suggestions/ideas/other
advice, to learn enough to recompile the kernel, and to configure it to suit my
needs. I compiled and went live with only one hitch, and have been live since
tuesday or wednesday. I'll be sure to let you know when it crashes (as i've
had another UP machine up and running non-stop, w/o a monitor no less, since
february, and never had a hitch, i have few concerns about crashing my server.)
