Hi,
In the last little while I noticed some oddoties while doing backups on my
system with afio and ftape.
I have a P133 with 64MB, and a Colorado T3000 drive attached to the regular
floppy controller.
I am using ftape-4.03-pre-2 and ftape-tools-1.07. Now if the system is
completely unloaded the backups proceed without problems but as soon as
I start X up the backup starts dying with timeout errors I believe. I
don't have the logs where this problem occurred but if you would like me
to reproduce it just let me know and I will send you the output.
Now is this normal? This was noticed on the late development kernels,
2.1.115 and beyond, I don't know if this problem existed before since
99% of my backups are done overnight.
