Hi again,
I did some further research on my problem and found something interesting
in the HowTo. The IOMEGA PnP Card does not do more than 3 Mbps. At least
there is no machine known to do so. I tried to set the data down to
3000Kbps (ft_fdc_rate_limit=3000). But this does not seem to have any
effect. I tried even 2000Kbps, but that too does not work.
Now I will try to install it on my Floppy Controller and try if that
works. If that doesn't I will check the hint from Piotr and install all
the stuff in my PII 333 machine, that should be fast enough.
Still waiting for a great answer. (But not the only one with troubles with
his Ditto Max I guess!)

P.S.: I now used pine on my Linux machine to write that mail. I am not
sure whether correct EMail headers are configured. Please check if the
sender and reply adress is correct ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), thanks.
