My strong recommendation for low $$, reliable drives is the TR-4 or NS-8
ATAPI drives from fine folks like Tecmar, Seagate and Tandberg. The key
here is that current customers have called to tell us that Seagate
literally tells them that they do not support Linux. My response: DON'T
BUY SEAGATE DRIVES.

We (EST) work directly with the engineering team at Tecmar and they are
VERY supportive of Linux. So, save some $$, get a reliable and fast
drive, AND support a vendor that supports Linux: BUY TECMAR!
