Fred, et al -

I do apologize for the delays in getting the LinuxTapeCert.org site up
to speed. Unfortunately, the tape drive vendors are all making demands
of our required Legal document (designed to protect the Penguin Logo and
insure that they actually support Linux users once certified) that are
slowing the process dramatically.

We have most of the issues worked out and most of the players are coming
on board. It is my sincerest hope to have everything ready by the end
of August.

To date, the players are Exabyte, Tandberg, Tecmar, Ecrix, OnStream, and
Hewlett Packard.

We're still working on Quantum, Overland Data, IBM and Seagate.

Please stay tuned.
