Hello Perry,
I understand where you are coming from. Unfotunately the SCSI drives are
not cheap by any stretch. The iOmaga Ditto Easy 3200 factory refurbished
unit with 1 year warranty is only $39 at www.krex.com. It is cheap and
holds a lot of data. It is an obvious choice (when it works...). Thanks
for your input though. Tomorrow I am going to install it in a Wintel box
and run it with iOmega's own utilities just to eliminate any hardware
issues...
