Congradulations on your engagement.

I applied your patch last night to a clean 2.4.17 kernel, ran "make 
xconfig" to confiure the new kernel source (with Backpack modules) and 
then tried to make the kernel and modules. Kernel compile went fine but 
when I tried to make the modules I ran into errors at bpckusb_fw.h. I've 
attached the compile output. Is there a simple change I can make to the 
source?

BTW, thanks for the patch.
