You should still post the second part of your problem (about how to use the device) to the users list. I will not answer it here. Dmitri's answere probably already covers this though. The problem appears to be broken descriptors. You need a real developers to help you with this: usbaudio: warning: found 2 of 1 logical channels. usbaudio: no idea what's going on..., contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] What is the device? It claims to be made by Philips, but 0x0 is a strange ID. Can you send /proc/bus/usb/devices (and /proc/bus/usb/drivers), with the device plugged in?
