I did it. I fixed the mixer bug in 2.4.17 or 2.4.18 and added more error messages. This message signals that the procedure of search for logical channels finds different number of logical channels than the descriptor report. And it is more serious thing as I added separate error messages for the case when one channel got lost in search (Philips camera) or when device reports a stereo channel counted as one by the procedure (Labtec headphone). This looks like there is 1 device on the descriptor but the procedure found two. Something is certainly wrong there and this is for this list, not for -users.
