As soon as I try and configure an IP address in Windows, I get either a
never ending hourglass or a blue screen of death.  It depends on the
Windows version.  The first time I plugged into Windows I thought it was
working, until I tried to configure the IP address.

yep, that is tcpdump

I'm running low on ideas.  Windows just isn't very helpful.  On a side
note, I really haven't used Windows since 1996.  Do most people just
learn to put up with a dozen crashes a day?  I know I'm going crazy.

I can confirm that.  It fills up the USB analyzer buffer very quickly,
and it hasn't even sent any networking packets(according to tcpdump).
