CDC ethernet works again (dumb mistake on my part). I still get the warning message, but at least it works.
If you change bcdUSB to "0110" (1.1), does Windows like it better?
RNDIS still doesn't work. Same messages as Friday afternoon. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Grab the spec and see what comes to mind ... also ask Benedikt, Robert, and Kai-Uwe who developed this originally. You had the same problem both with their original version and the current one, right? The RNDIS code shouldn't much have changed, only how it integrates with the of the ethernet code.
I will, however, re-test against the latest code.
bcdDevice changed bConfigurationValue changed from 3 to 1 bmAttributes changed from none to self-powered set-configuration changed from 3 to 1 Get Descriptor string index 3 changed (mac addr) Get Descriptor string index 1 changed (I added "_udc" to the end) ... I don't enough about the Linux USB implementation to track this down either. The only thing that stands out is the change in bConfigurationValue.
The bConfigurationValue change was a bit of an arbitrary hack, so it works better on some hardware (mq11xx_udc) which only supports that configuration value. Most hardware can, though it looked as if h7202_udc will need some updates to force the configuratio number to always be "2".
