Ok, you have 2 different problems:
- the asdl USB driver isn't compiled correctly for your kernel
- your USB subsystem isn't talking to your device correctly.
The first problem you need to take it up with the driver's author. The
driver is outside of the kernel tree, and I'm not about to start helping
to debug that build process :)
The second problem is something we can help with.
Does any other USB devices work with this system?
Is this a SMP machine?
What kind of motherboard is this?
