Hello,

I'm trying to link my desktop and my laptop thru a USB Network
as described on http://www.linux-usb.org/usbnet/
but unfortunately my cable is based on the chipset Prolific PL-2303
that does not work with my 2.4.18 kernel.

Before I update to a newer kernel, does anybody know the best cable
choice
for USB Networking under Linux ?
Some said it's a cable based on the netchip 1080 but in Europe, it's not
easy to find a resellers !
or the Belkin USB Direct Connect but it's 70EUR !

Thanks for your advices,

Fred
