I have a digital camera that is picked up on the USB connection . It is recognised as a USB mass storage device. During boot-up there is a message "insmod usb-mass storage failed ". The device was recognised on /dev/sdb. When I tried to mount the filesystem, the process just hung. After 30 seconds the linux operating system had completely locked - even ctrl-alt-del did not work. Swithcing the power off was effective though. Any ideas?
Simon.
