The problem persists. Find dmesg output attached. 
I rebuild the kernel with CONFIG_USB_DEBUG set and installed it this week-end. 
Diff shows the identical binary in /boot as in /usr/src/linux. However 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is not my box. I'll compile a new kernel from scratch, but 
that will take a little while.
