Can you post your log files from doing this? It should run at full speed
(but perhaps not at High speed).

There is no difference between an V1 and V2 connector. There are A and B
type connectors which are completely orthoganal. You must plug the A end
into the host (computer) and the B end into the device (hub). This is the
same for V1 and V2.

Did you do that? Did you plug in the power connector (which looks like a
floppy power connector) too?

Perhaps you know this and I'm just not reading the correct meaning, if so
sorry.
