Hi group ... just wondering in light of Xtra/Telecom's Cap on what is supposed to be an "unlimited" service How many people here are using a local (ie on their end of the last mile/km.6) proxy?
As some of you may know I run E-caf @ The Arts Centre .. while it doesn't use DSL .. use of a local proxy their has dramatically reduced bandwidth costs. I've since hooked up squid at home and am now contemplating going back to JetStream again (yeah yeah Tempest isn't available in Fendalton) FYI .. Tempest is Telstra/Clear's 2M wireless connection .. even that is helped by a local proxy. Well thats my topic du jour cheers Paul
