WYSIWYG is impossible period! printer and monitor are just so fundamentally different, you will never get the same output on both. what you see is mostly what you will get. please explain why this is impossible in X > 4. Lack of standards for "fancy" UI features, such as Drag and drop, > clipboard, global menus, tasklists... what are global menues? > 4. THE MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON for paste. (Ok, technically not an X > feature, rather a widget-set feature, but we will put it in > anyway.) copy and paste IS a problem though. while i do like the speed of X pasting, the fact that i can't select two things and replace the second selection with the first is often annoying. greetings, martin. -- looking for a job anywhere in the world, doing pike programming, sTeam/caudium /pike/roxen training, sTeam/caudium/roxen and/or unix system administration. -- pike programmer open-steam.org (www.archlab|(www|db).hb2).tuwien.ac.at unix (iaeste|bahai).or.at iaeste.tuwien.ac.at systemadministrator (stuts|black.linux-m68k).org is.(schon.org|root.at) Martin B"ahr http://www.iaeste.or.at/~mbaehr/
