I was thinking maybe on the clug website we/you/us/him/it (who actually is the Op of this list?) we/you/us/him/it could have a web based version were people can post there messages from it and the general public can look at it. To post messages you can get a username attached to you email. But you still have to subscribe the normal way . To prevent people just making up addresss confirmation letter maybe.
