So far as I know all CDR's work in linux with SCSI emulation.... not sure if others work directly with ATAPI.
But Dragon PC <www.dragonpc.co.nz> has an Aopen 40x12x48 for $160, which seems like a bargain. My flatmate bought one and got it to work okay, and I intend to get one of these when i've got the dough. (My current burner is dying, and irrecoverably hangs the computer whilst trying to _read_ CD's... Still writes okay though) Steve On Wed, Aug 28, 2002 at 11:45:05AM +1200, Phill Coxon wrote: > Hi all. > > I need to get a new internal CD-Writer. > > I'm looking at Liteon, Aopen and BTC.
