Easy Linux Server Administration Software?

Has anyone got a good simple web- or text-based admin package or know of a good distro for a school so that they can have file sharing, email, etc in a simple to manage package?

I found this: www.easilize.com, but I'm not sure if it's really any good... so I'm looking for something people are already using and that has proven itself.
