Precisely. It's getting the icon on the desktop in the first place, in
order to avoid having to wade through the K menus. The Mandrake 'How To'
doesn't work and many binaries don't give an indication in their name as to
what they are for. I can always identify a .exe file in a Windows type
programme. (Mandrake 8.2 put a lot of useful icons on the desktop during
the install, while 9.0 only seems to give 'sales' items which might be used
once in a blue moon.)

Also Open Office says, when requesting 'help'. "You haven't loaded the help
file." Not me, mate! I requested Open Office be loaded during the install
and I thought that you would have the sense to know that I would need all
files relevent to it, without my having to go searching CDs to locate files
you had missed, and then to learn how to add them.

Peter.
