Hi, I wanted to do some home networking and ICS in my household but after looking at the speed and caps, I found that ADSL and cable home plans are not very suitable. The only way i can share the internet without lag is through jetstream which costs alot. Hey thats what ADSL and cable (broadband) is for.
Live webcasts and radio feeds at a good speed, is what i like. (But of course this is what i like). Quoting from this months Netguide, Telecom only has 26,000 home subscribers on ADSL. The title of the article speaks for itself "Broad Band at home remains luxury". I like TelstraClears tempest 256K plan, unfortunately it is only for businesses, @ $99 per month it is pretty reasonable. Anyway, have a good sleep guys! ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nick Rout" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2002 8:14 PM Subject: Re: Broadband Usage > yes but you don't use any bandwidth by just having it turned ON.
