Thanks Nick, I decided to try your method.

I have installed Microsoft Personal Web server on my pc, and checked from
another intranet pc running winnt that I can access it and copy the file I
want over the network.  So then I go back to tomsrtbt, and try wget, but I'm
afraid when I type:
wget http://steve/win98se.exe It replies wget: steve: Unknown host.

Please could someone tell me how to use wget, or what else I may not have
thought of.
