NEC about two or three years old - came with win98 installed - both SuSE 8.? and Mdk 9.1 look good on it. Using it away from home is not a biggie, but using it anywhere at home is - i.e. further than laplink/nul-printer cable length away from desktop. We have several phone jacks and phone extension cable. No further financial outlay is desired, having just bought a cdwriter for my birthday. Yuri Yuri
