I think you should write a letter to the editor, even if you do calm down.  
I think we all should, to get the point across that this behaviour is 
unwanted and should not be tolerated.

I actually think the article is totally neutral, and by reporting what the 
man said with little comment allows the reader to make up their own mind.  
The worst part is that the article is entirely correct in its portrayal of 
a person who is making a lot of money from other people's 
ignorance/stupidity/naivete/desperation.  Sadly, there is little social 
pressure on modern behaviour to do the right thing.
