hi all sticking with the (ot)subject matter the following two were also in today's mail:
first was this outfit offering me the chance to do it(spam that is) for free - http://www.broadcastemailadvertising.com/email6/ and this one, from eweek, on why current efforts to legislate against it are fraught with something-or-other. what ammused me was the way in which it ends on a spammish note: http://www.eweek.com/print_article/0,3668,a=46200,00.asp i should add that, in recent times, there have been a lot better argued articles than this one on why legislation can only get it wrong. personally i'm more inclined to christopher's wished for solution but, as this could have unwanted consequences, like incarceration, will enjoy it in imagination only. cheers peter
