hmmm dvd::rip has a cluster mode, you need transcode on the slave
boxes. It'd be interesting to do a price/perfomance analysis of one G4
mac against a similarly priced athlon/p4 cluster.....

anyway going out for a few hours made my eyes less square and theres
only 6 mins to go!!
