Ok. was trying to find out about the 10mbits technology. Am now without jetstream or adsl because as a business user what used to cost $60.00 per month with jetstart will now cost me over $300 per month which is insane. Businesses are not allowed to use Jetstart. Telescum want their hands deeper in the bus persons pocket.
Pity no ISP is using broadband lines, splitting them into 128kbps pipes and selling them cheaply. Roll on the telecom unbundling. I will be the first out. shane > -----Original Message----- > From: Don Gould - BVC [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, 27 November 2003 5:36 p.m. > To: Shane Hollis > Subject: RE: Linux Distros on Campus - Wireless? > > > On Thu, 27 Nov 2003 17:07:23 +1300, Shane Hollis wrote > > >Don Gould > > >www.bvc.com.au > > > > Well their page loaded quickly ....pity there is nothing on it or > > behind it that showed up..... > > It's my own domain name. > > I had a website up there with news and information about boradband in > Australia. > > > >The technology exists to give every home 10mbits per second for $10 per > > month! > > That statement was actually a comment made to me by a guy called > Geoff Huston > (www.telstra.net/gih) and was in reference to Australia. > > I'd love to prove him right! > > Cheers DiG > > -- > Don Gould > www.bvc.com.au > The technology exists to give every home 10mbits per second for > $10 per month! > > > --- > Incoming mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.543 / Virus Database: 337 - Release Date: 21/11/2003 > --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
