Thank heaven for that. I use ICONZ and I just spoke to them. They no longer advertise their residential 128K Jetstart service at all and it is going from 'uncapped' to capped (or within reasonable usage) very soon at that. This is because of Telecom I am told. Telecom are putting the squeeze on Broadband and the ISP's have no choice. They are trying to bump people to their 256K capped connections and are in effect trying to snuff out Jetstart by cannibalizing it for Jetstream customers. They realise that 128K is more than enough for most home users. But that is not the cash cow they want it to be, thus the efforts to Jetstream.

Cheers

fine if it is available.

some of us have no choice.

Then watch out - TelstraClear are soon going to offer ADSL. They've been doing businesses since September, and "residential rollout will follow a little later in the year"

Read all about it.

There is a choice.
