Thank heaven for that. I use ICONZ and I just spoke to them. They no
longer advertise their residential 128K Jetstart service at all and it
is going from 'uncapped' to capped (or within reasonable usage) very
soon at that. This is because of Telecom I am told. Telecom are putting
the squeeze on Broadband and the ISP's have no choice. They are trying
to bump people to their 256K capped connections and are in effect trying
to snuff out Jetstart by cannibalizing it for Jetstream customers. They
realise that 128K is more than enough for most home users. But that is
not the cash cow they want it to be, thus the efforts to Jetstream.
