Home PC
Athlon 2600xp with 1GB of dual channel ram. 1 x 120GB hdd + 1 x 20GB hdd
20GB hdd has debian unstable with 2.4.23 kernel
big hdd has windows XP partition + ~100GB of FAT32 data partition accessible
by both.
I use windows for games.
desktop = gnome 2.4
evolution for mail
mozilla for browser at the moment because attempting to install KDE some
time ago killed my opera install.
pan for usenet
gaim for instant messaging (MSN, ICQ and Yahoo)
gnucash
album
gphoto2 for my digital camera
gtkam - graphical frontend for gphoto
gqview for image viewing
gimp for editing - still learning
xine - not too happy, locks when playing DVD's, although haven't updated for
a while, ever since I went back on dialup :(
open office - I have made powerpoint presentations with it back when I had
version 1.0. It wasn't as easy as powerpoint... Also used my xbox with
Ed's Debian to display them through a projector before I sold it... (xbox +
projector etc makes 'cheap' system for church if you get it set up right)
ethereal/tcpdump/iptraf for network monitoring.
Used to have a debian stable box with shorewall for a firewall until some
punks came and stole it.
That's about it for me...
Luuk
