I read your whole post. It was your claim about an out-of-the-box
install being more secure than a Windows host secure by somebody with a
clue that I took issue with. Of course, an install that is, literally,
out-of-the-box will not have the luxury of off-the-Internet updates, let
alone an intelligent review of the services offered by the host. That
is what made your claim so dubious.
