Well I've had no problems with MDK-10.0-CE but I've simply upgraded using urpmi from 10.0RC1. 10RC1 didn't give me any problems when installing from just the 1st 2 cd's, Not sure what that means though as I've never had any installation problems with Mandrake appart from one dud ISO.
