We have recently moved to CHCH and I am very unfamiliar with the adsl products on offer here.
Signed up with jetstream and am now very disappointed to find I can't pull mail off a mail server in Aus that hosts my domain. What are they thinking blocking conventional mail.
As a side issue I used to connect with Smoothwall PPPOE but NZ seems to use PPPOA. What are you guys doing for linux gateways?
Or do you get the modem to connect and authenticate then get your firewall to dhcp from the adsl modem and run your network behind the linux box???
A couple of local pointers would be appreciated.
