I know little about adsl etc on linux but a mate of mine uses PPPOE on his
adsl here in chch.
I tried to get linux MDK 8.2 to connect to the net with his adsl but we
couldn�t get a connect.
he uses an odd ball modem that requires driver s/w from france (dynalink usb
adsl modem).
know it�s of little help .....
