No to both, sorry. I would be surprised if DVD playing worked out of the
box, as DVDs are encrypted and RedHat/Fedora seems to frown on
distributing the deCSS library. I *think* the totem movie player is
installed, so playing unencrypted DVDs may work. I will try it out
tonight.

As for CD burning, it has worked out of the box with all other versions
of RedHat that I used, so if it did not work out of the I would be
surprised and disappointed. I have not burnt anything yet as I have
nothing to burn :)

Glorious. The default fonts are anti-aliased TrueType fonts from the
Bitstream Vera family[1].

And those who know me can testify that I loathe *all* word processors :)

As far as screen shots go, it looks much the same as my Debian box: a
GNOME using the Vera fonts.  I could post a URL to a screen shot of this
box now! If you insist, I will see what I can do tonight and post a URL
to a PNG of my FC2 desktop tomorrow.
