He was talking about a DNS server, not a mail server, and whether he was intending on receiving any mail at domains on his home DNS. And Telstra Cable is a 24/365 service. Not much point running any server if the box isn't always on. Time to point out that per domain, two active and different DNS servers on 2 different IPs are required.
