yes i think i would, although it may be the neighbouring mountain ( to
the right of herbert, name escapes me for the moment) we can see clearly.
how would we test? got any idea of where to look?

That page refers to a wm-918, which seems to have been available at DSE
at some stage (referred to if you google for wm-918 site:.nz)

it is also the model number of an oregon scientific product, but
according to their home page is no longer current.

Oh well, perhaps i will have to go Andy's route and build something
myself.
