Here's something that will speed up your Yahoo browsing and a number of other 
sites for that matter...

http://everythingisnt.com/hosts.html

You replace your hosts file for this one, which is a large file of sites that 
will cause ad site addresses to resolve to your own PC (127.0.0.1).  Um, err, 
no, on second thoughts don't replace your hosts file, just add the contents of 
this one to the end of your current one (windows or linux).

Saves a tremendous amount of image loading on sites like Yahoo and you only 
miss the adverts!  I think it's pretty neat and simple way to do it [pause to 
be shot down by Geek 617 Squadron].
