Hi all
i have been experimenting with "ripping" wav files from music tapes, with a view to recording them asCD music files I have used gramofile to rip and filter the tracks and then wav2cdr to convert them to CDR files, k3b to record them The output from wav2cdr in the sample below gave a file "span1.01". K3b can't recognise this file type, I've tried expermenting by renaming the extension as "cdr" "wav" "raw" but no luck with getting the CDR playback I've had a look at the various -h --help etc. and it's probably fairly basic but I can't seem to get my head around it I guess this one for Volker really: [EMAIL PROTECTED] wav2cdr --monostereo --tocdr processed1.wav span1 Host is: little Byte order in, out: little -> big Format in, out: wav -> cdr Scale: 100%, * 1.000000 Swap channels: no Do ->mono->stereo: yes Find silences: no Add silence: 0 C = 00:00.00 min, 0 C = 00:00.00 min Fade-in / -out: 0 C = 00:00.00 min, 0 C = 00:00.00 min Input data size: 416314940 b = 177004 C = 2360 s = 39:20.06 min Number of cuts: 0 Skipping before: 00:00.00 min = 0 C (excl) (first cut) Skipping after: 00:00.00 min = 0 C (incl) (last cut) Input filename: processed1.wav Output filename: span1.%02d - Opening file(r): processed1.wav - Opening file(w): span1.01 cdr: padding 820 bytes Wrote bytes: 416315760 (177005 C, 39:20.06 min) -> span1.01 Execution time: 00:00:42 h (42 s) - Wrote bytes total: 416315760 (177005 C, 39:20.06 min) Exec time total: 00:00:42 h (42 s) -- cheers................dave Mail to: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ____________________________________________ KMail 1.6.2 & Kontact - KDE Desktop 3.2.3 SimplyMEPIS Linux - Kernel 2.6.7 (i686) ____________________________________________
