You said the site you wanted to test was new and on the intranet, which means not yet publicly available, so no I didn't look at anything. I didn't say your site only works in IE, nor did you say that it works in every browser. I was just thinking about what the testing might involve, based on the info so far available. Looking around the internet, it is not unreasonable to assume that usability testing only involves IE, unless otherwise stated.
